What you will do:
- Provide tailored support and interventions to individuals experiencing substance misuse issues, to promote recovery and well-being.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, ensuring regular engagement and support to meet their recovery goals.
- Deliver harm reduction advice and materials, including the provision of needle exchange services.
- Collaborate with community services, healthcare providers, and support networks to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Document and maintain accurate client records, utilising SystemOne for effective communication and case management.
Requirements for the role of Substance Misuse Worker:
- Recent experience in Substance Misuse, Substance Abuse, Addiction, Drug and Alcohol, Needle Exchange, or Recovery is essential.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in substance misuse or related fields.
- Experience of using SystemOne is required to manage client records effectively.
