Graduate Psychology Teaching Assistant – Up to £550 per week
Location: Nuneaton Primary School
Start Date: Immediate or September 2025

We're partnering with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Nuneaton to find a committed Graduate Psychology Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic full-time, long-term role—ideal for a Psychology graduate seeking hands-on experience before pursuing a PGCE, Educational Psychology, or related postgraduate training.

Graduate Psychology Teaching Assistant – Why Apply?

Graduate Psychology Teaching Assistant – Your Role:

  • Support children across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
  • Lead 1:1 and small group interventions (academic, emotional, and social)
  • Work with children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other additional needs
  • Assist with classroom routines and inclusive teaching strategies
  • Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and resilience
  • Collaborate with class teachers, SENCOs, and external specialists
  • Support with therapeutic and play-based activities throughout the day

Graduate Psychology Teaching Assistant – What We’re Looking For:

  • A 2:1 or above in Psychology (or a closely related subject)
  • Strong interest in child development and inclusive education
  • Previous experience working with children or young people (e.g., in schools, tutoring, youth work, or SEN settings)
  • Excellent communication skills, empathy, and patience
  • Energetic, proactive, and passionate about supporting children’s growth
  • Career aspirations in teaching, educational psychology, or mental health support
