What you will do:
- Undertake comprehensive Child and Family Assessments to understand the needs and strengths of families
- Engage in initial court work and oversee Looked After Children processes to support positive permanency planning
- Participate in a duty cycle every 6 weeks, ensuring prompt and effective response to urgent concerns
- Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions and comprehensive support services
- Adhere to best practice frameworks, ensuring compliance with UK legislation and Social Work England standards
Requirements of the Social Worker:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in social work
- Current registration with Social Work England
- Proven experience working as a qualified social worker within UK social services, showcasing a history of impactful intervention and support
