Construction - Commercial build

£180 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.

This is an 8 month temporary contract.

A great opportunity to start a temporary Slinger role in Penryn, Cornwall. You will be working on a large commercial refurb and extension. This is a brownfield site located in the town. 

Within a small site team you will be responsible for assisting tower crane lifts and slinging. This will only take up a part of the day so you will also be expected to help out and act as a general operative when things are quiet on the crane. 

Day to day:

• Working within a lifting team.
• Slinging loads.
• Logistic.
• General operative, some labouring, tidying, vehicle banking when needed, day to day duties.
• Taking instruction from Crane supervisor/operator.
• Site safety, helping to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Must have a CPCS or NPORS card.
• Must have previous experience in slinging.
• Must be experienced in working on commercial builds.
• A traffic marshal or banksman ticket would be good but not essential.
• Must work well within a team.
• Driving licence (Not essential but preferable due to job location)
• Professional at all times.
• Good work ethic.
• Good timekeeping.
