Construction - Commercial, Refurb, Fit Out

A great opportunity to start a temporary site carpentry role in the Newcastle Tyne region. You will be working for a busy principle contractor that provide contractual service's dock yards, MOD projects. As well as privately contract into the environmental services around the UK.

This contract will be for an ongoing period time, during this time shift patterns will be 7 days a week with 10 hour shifts each day. 

(Overtime rates available for weekend shifts)

Standard hourly £24ph

Saturday & Sunday £36ph 

10 hour days

Day to day:

• Fit out
• Refurb
• Carpentry, doors, linings, boxing, railings.
• Cabinet making, joinery, cupboards ets.
• Drylining, partitions and stud work.
• Boat refurb & fit out.
• Tidying up after yourself at the end of a shift.
• Site safety, helping to maintain a safe working environment. 
• Taking instructions from management.
• Reporting and or rectifying hazards.

Requirements:

• Must have a CSCS card.
• Professional at all times.
• Good work ethic.
• Must have appropriate tools.
• Must be experienced in carpentry and fit out.
• PPE
• Driving licence is not essential but will be beneficial.
• Good timekeeping.
