What you will do:

• Lead and manage the Family Safeguarding Team, providing guidance and support to social workers to ensure high standards are maintained.
• Oversee casework within the team, ensuring compliance with statutory duties and promoting best practices in safeguarding.
• Collaborate with partner agencies and stakeholders, fostering strong, multidisciplinary relationships for effective family support.
• Analyse and improve team performance through regular supervision, training, and development opportunities.
• Implement and maintain qualitative assessments, reporting on team progress and outcomes to senior management.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team, encouraging creative solutions for challenging cases.
