What you will do:
- Hold child protection cases and manage complex family situations.
- Communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with a wide range of professionals and vulnerable families.
- Chair multi-agency core group meetings, facilitating effective collaboration.
- Complete and present reports within the child protection arena using the Signs of Safety approach.
- Undertake section 47 enquiries and perform thorough child protection investigations and reports.
- Prepare court reports and present evidence confidently in court proceedings.
- Engage in child protection, court work, and child in care duties.
- Cover duty work as required to ensure team support.
- Apply knowledge of the Signs of Safety and utilise the MOSAIC system efficiently.
- Travel across Cornwall, requiring your own transport for community visits.
