Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse caseload and conduct direct work with children, ensuring their voices and lived experiences are central to planning.

• Lead and chair multi-agency meetings, working in partnership with professionals to deliver integrated, effective support.

• Provide timely, high-quality assessments, plans, and interventions in line with statutory frameworks and local policies.

• Deliver creative and impactful interventions that reduce the need for children to enter care and promote long-term stability.

• Support children and families from the assessment stage onwards, building strong, supportive relationships to promote positive change.

• Prepare clear, evidence-based reports and maintain accurate case records in line with best practice.

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work.

• Registration with Social Work England.

• Experience working in children and families’ services, ideally within assessment or family support teams.

• Strong assessment, communication, and multi-agency working skills.
