What you will do:

Conduct and analyse blood transfusion and haematology assays proficiently. Collaborate with the laboratory teams using Laboratory Information Management Systems like Winpath and quality systems such as Q Pulse. Operate and maintain equipment including Sysmex analysers and IH 500 with precision. Ensure strict adherence to laboratory protocols and safety guidelines. Provide accurate results to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment planning. Liaise with clinical teams to support haematology research and clinical trials.

Requirements:

HCPC registration is mandatory. A minimum of two years’ experience specialising in haematology and blood transfusion is essential. Proficiency in using advanced lab systems and analysers is crucial. Driving is preferable but not mandatory, allowing for easy access across sites.
