Calling all Band 6 Community Occupational Therapists for an exciting locum opportunity! We are looking for skilled professionals to join our dynamic team in Nottingham, offering a competitive hourly rate of £26. The role is full-time with the potential to consider part-time positions, starting ASAP and continuing on an ongoing basis. This opportunity primarily involves working with the Urgent Community Response and integrated reablement teams, where you will make a genuine difference in the community.

What you will do:

  • Engage with community referrals and demonstrate proficiency in handling cases using SystmOne software within the Urgent Community Response and reablement teams.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver tailored occupational therapy interventions to individuals in their homes.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalised reablement plans.
  • Provide guidance for carers and family members to support the ongoing progress of service users.
  • Monitor and record progress to ensure the optimal outcome for each individual.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices and new treatment options.
  • Travel across sites as needed, making driving skills a preferable requirement.

The role requires HCPC registration, a minimum of 2 years of experience in the relevant specialism, and it is preferable for the candidate to be a car driver.
