What you will do:

- Manage a highly complex neurological caseload independently, utilising your previous NHS Band 7 experience, particularly with adults facing progressive and neurological impairments. Your dysphagia competence and supervision skills will be vital.
- Prioritise patients and make differential diagnostic and clinical management decisions based on evidence, often weighing up complex clinical indicators.
- Analyse communication difficulties, developing strategies to enhance effectiveness in various settings such as home and work.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment programmes, evaluating clinical outcomes to ensure the highest level of care and effectiveness.
- Work closely with professionals to communicate changes in a client's health, using your clinical judgement and highly specialised skills.
- Inspire clients and carers to participate fully in the therapeutic process with your motivational skills.
- Take lead on creating best practice clinical protocols, and participate in SLT triage for new referrals.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you must be HCPC registered with at least 2 years of relevant experience. It's preferable that you are a car driver to enhance your flexibility and reach.
