Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Band 6 Stroke Occupational Therapist in Great Yarmouth UK, earning £26 hourly. This is an exceptional opportunity to make a difference with an ASAP Start – Ongoing contract. Full time positions are available but part time will be considered for the right candidate. What you will do:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical, cognitive, perceptual, and psychosocial needs post-stroke.
  • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans to improve functional abilities, such as self-care, mobility, and daily living skills.
  • Provide interventions to address impairments, including upper limb rehabilitation, cognitive retraining, and environmental adaptations.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, and neurologists, to deliver integrated care.
  • Support patients and families with education, advice, and strategies for managing long-term recovery.
  • Recommend and facilitate the use of adaptive equipment or home modifications to support independence.
  • Maintain accurate, timely patient records in line with NHS and professional standards.
  • Contribute to service development through audits, research, or quality improvement projects.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, students, or support workers as required.


To be successful in this role, you need to be HCPC registered with at least two years of experience in stroke rehabilitation. A driving licence is preferable for this role, enhancing your ability to work across sites.
