Role Overview:

As a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant, you’ll work alongside class teachers to support pupils aged 4–11 across a range of subjects, with a particular focus on literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development. You will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support

• Assist with lesson preparation and classroom activities

• Help manage classroom behaviour positively

• Support children with additional needs, where appropriate

• Contribute to a calm, engaging, and encouraging learning environment

This is an ideal role for a graduate looking to gain experience before training as a teacher, educational psychologist, or child therapist.

Who We’re Looking For:

• A recent graduate with a 2:1 or above in Education, Psychology, Childhood Studies, or a related subject

• Some experience working with children or young people (in a school, nursery, youth group, or voluntary setting)

• A calm, patient, and enthusiastic approach

• A genuine interest in child development and inclusive education
