What You Will Do:

  • Undertake comprehensive assessments under the Framework for the Assessment of Children in Need and their families.

  • Formulate and deliver detailed care and support plans tailored to each child's needs.

  • Build packages of care that promote safety, well-being, and positive long-term outcomes.

  • Work closely with families, carers, schools, and partner agencies to develop a holistic picture of need and to implement appropriate interventions.

  • Ensure timely, accurate case recording and compliance with all relevant legislation and local authority policies.

  • Engage in strategy discussions, case conferences, and court proceedings where required.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Social Worker with SWE registration (Social Work England).

  • Proven experience in children’s assessment teams or frontline statutory services.

  • Excellent understanding of child protection legislation, thresholds, and early intervention frameworks.

  • Strong communication, decision-making, and risk assessment skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, emotionally rewarding environment.
