What you will do:
- Carry out duties within the framework of relevant legislative and council policies, ensuring adherence to practices such as the Corporate Equality and Diversity Policy and Health and Safety Policy.
- Complete assessments under applicable legislation to identify risk and required levels of intervention.
- Liaise and negotiate with service users, carers, hospital colleagues, and external agencies to guarantee that the provided services meet high standards.
- Effectively manage your workload while aligning with Directorate priorities and policies.
- Maintain detailed and timely electronic records of your work and complete necessary administrative tasks.
- Prepare for and actively participate in Time to Talk sessions and meetings; further your development through available training opportunities.
- Document evidence as part of your continual professional development requirements.
- Contribute to the team's duty rota and manage enquiries and referrals per established procedures.
- Participate in service evaluations and development, sharing insights and practices with team members and stakeholders.
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of vulnerable adults and children encountered in your work.
- Undertake additional duties as required, consistent with the level of this post.
