What you will do:

- Lead and manage the Children In Care Team ensuring the highest standards of care for all children and young people
- Oversee care proceedings and manage relationships with partners and external agencies
- Develop and implement care strategies to support the welfare and development of children in care
- Supervise, mentor, and support team members, fostering an environment of professional development
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policies to safeguard children and young people
- Manage budgets and resources efficiently to maximise the team's effectiveness
- Provide direct guidance and support in complex casework
