What You Will Do:

• Partner with the Hospital Antimicrobial Management Team to deliver expert advice and champion best practices in antimicrobial use.

• Develop and update local antibiotic treatment guidelines to support all prescribers.

• Audit antimicrobial prescribing patterns, monitor adherence to guidelines, and drive improvements.

• Report regularly to the Infection Control Team and Medication Safety Group to ensure optimal patient safety and care standards.

Requirements:

• HCPC registration (essential)

• DBS on the Update Service

• Full UK driving licence (due to local travel requirements)

• Prior experience in hospital pharmacy and antimicrobial stewardship
