Locum Social Worker - Children With Disabilities Team in Northamptonshire earning £35 per hour on an ongoing contract! What you will do:
- Engage with children and families to provide comprehensive assessments and develop tailored care plans.
- Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver integrated services.
- Support children in need, those under child protection, and children in care through effective intervention and support strategies.
- Conduct assessments of need and provision to formulate and review care packages and short breaks for children with disabilities.
- Ensure compliance with legal and organisational requirements while maintaining detailed records.
- Provide expert guidance and support to junior team members.
- Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of social work practices.

Requirements of the Social Worker:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in social work.
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Significant experience as a frontline Social Worker within UK Social Services.
- Experience in working with children with disabilities is essential.
- Skilled in working with Children in Need, Child Protection, and Children in Care.
- Competence in assessing needs, providing care packages, and coordinating multi-disciplinary team efforts.
- Three years post-qualification experience is desirable.
