Graduate Academic Mentor – Graduate Teaching Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

Support teaching in your subject area or across the curriculum as needed

Work 1:1 or in small groups to build student confidence and subject knowledge

Assist with lesson planning, classroom resources, and behaviour management

Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Develop a strong understanding of school life and educational practice
Who We’re Looking For:
-
Graduates (or soon-to-be graduates) with a 2:1 or above, class of 2025 preferred
-
Ideally from a Russell Group or Top 20 UK university
-
Passionate about education and supporting young people
-
Interested in at least one of the listed subject areas

Proactive, dependable, and adaptable
-
Prior experience with children or young people is beneficial but not essential
