What You Will Do

• Chair fostering reviews in accordance with statutory regulations and local policy frameworks.

• Provide independent scrutiny and oversight of care planning and fostering practices.

• Work collaboratively with foster carers, social workers, and multi-agency partners to ensure the highest quality of care for children.

• Monitor ongoing placements and identify areas for development, improvement, or additional support.

• Prepare and present comprehensive review reports, ensuring all decisions are child-centred and in line with best practice.

• Offer expert advice and reflective support to teams across fostering services.

• Stay abreast of current legislation, guidance, and policy changes in fostering.
