Graduate Humanities Teaching Assistant – Person Specification:
- A 2:1 or higher degree in a Humanities subject (e.g. History, English, Geography, RS)
- A passion for education and a desire to support young people’s learning
- Some experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, flexible, and proactive attitude
- Ambition to pursue a long-term career in education

- Provide targeted support in lessons across the Humanities department (KS3 & KS4)
- Work 1:1 and with small groups to boost confidence and understanding in subjects such as History, English, Geography, or RS
- Assist teachers in the delivery of engaging, high-quality lessons
- Support students with varying needs to help close learning gaps
- Plan and deliver tailored intervention sessions when appropriate
- Take part in weekly training and professional development to build your skills
