Graduate Geography Teaching Assistant  - What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting students during Geography lessons, both in the classroom and through fieldwork preparation
• Assisting with lesson resources, assessments, and presentations
• Providing targeted academic support to individuals and small groups
• Encouraging analytical thinking, map skills, and environmental awareness
• Helping to deliver engaging lessons on physical and human geography topics
• Supporting revision sessions and GCSE preparation
• Getting involved in enrichment activities such as eco-clubs or geography-related projects

Graduate Geography Teaching Assistant - What We’re Looking For

• A 2:1 degree or above in Geography or a related subject
• Strong subject knowledge and an enthusiasm for teaching and learning
• Experience working with young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, youth work)
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A keen interest in educational development, fieldwork, and global issues
• A desire to pursue a career in teaching, education, or related fields
