Graduate Geography Teaching Assistant - What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting students during Geography lessons, both in the classroom and through fieldwork preparation
- Assisting with lesson resources, assessments, and presentations
- Providing targeted academic support to individuals and small groups
- Encouraging analytical thinking, map skills, and environmental awareness
- Helping to deliver engaging lessons on physical and human geography topics
- Supporting revision sessions and GCSE preparation
- Getting involved in enrichment activities such as eco-clubs or geography-related projects
Graduate Geography Teaching Assistant - What We’re Looking For
- A 2:1 degree or above in Geography or a related subject
- Strong subject knowledge and an enthusiasm for teaching and learning
- Experience working with young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, youth work)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A keen interest in educational development, fieldwork, and global issues
- A desire to pursue a career in teaching, education, or related fields
