Graduate Physics Teaching Assistant - What You’ll Be Doing

  • Providing one-to-one and small group academic support
  • Encouraging critical thinking, resilience, and scientific curiosity
  • Supporting revision sessions and helping students prepare for exams
  • Assisting with classroom management and lab safety procedures
  • Getting involved with STEM clubs, competitions, and enrichment activities

Graduate Physics Teaching Assistant - What We’re Looking For

  • A 2:1 degree or above in Physics or a closely related subject
  • Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for science education
  • Experience working with young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, coaching)
  • Confident communication skills and a proactive, organised mindset
  • An interest in pursuing a future career in teaching or STEM outreach
