What you will do:
- Oversee and supervise a team of Family First Case Managers, ensuring high-quality Early Help Assessments and interventions are delivered effectively for children and families with complex needs.
- Establish and maintain robust multi-agency partnership links to promote joint approaches to working with children and families, ensuring safeguarding and managing potential harm.
- Manage the allocation and assessment processes within the Family First Service, championing persistent engagement that leads to positive, measurable outcomes for families.
- Support and drive practice improvements across the service, working closely with partners to achieve improved outcomes aligning with performance frameworks including the Troubled Families Outcome Plan.
- Ensure services are delivered within the team's budget and deputise for the Head of Service when necessary, attending key operational and strategic meetings.

Requirements of the Team Manager:
- Degree or equivalent qualification in social work.
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Recent managerial experience as a Team Manager, Deputy Team Manager, or Assistant Team Manager in Children’s Services.
- A strong background in frontline services within Children’s Services as a Team Manager.
