What you will do:
- Undertake Children and Families assessments CA 89, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
- Provide comprehensive Child in Need and child protection plans, including chairing relevant meetings.
- Engage with children and young people, particularly those with communication difficulties, to assess risks and identify suitable short break services.
- Manage Children in Care and maintain their care plans effectively.
- Handle court work as necessary, ensuring all legal requirements are met.
- Develop and implement Transition Plans for young adults.
This role, focused on serving our Children's Disability Service, demands a candidate who is ready to jump into action and handle its fast-paced nature. Based in our spanking new office at the heart of Grimsby, you will work within a regime of safer recruitment compliance. Your work will involve statutory Child and Family assessments, managing child-specific care plans, and supporting children in need or at risk. You'll also be expected to grasp the essentials of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
