A welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a dedicated Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their support team from September. This is a full-time, term-time role—ideal for graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in an educational setting that aligns with careers in psychology or therapeutic professions.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Pay: Up to £520 per week

Start Date: September 2025

Contract: Academic year with the potential to become permanent
Role Responsibilities:

Support pupils with a range of SEN including autism, speech and language difficulties, and social-emotional needs

Work one-to-one and with small groups to deliver tailored interventions

Assist with personalised learning plans and behaviour strategies

Collaborate with educational psychologists, speech and language therapists, and other specialists

Build practical experience relevant for further training or postgraduate study
Candidate Profile:
-
A recent Psychology graduate (2:1 or above preferred)

Passionate about SEN and child development
-
Empathetic, patient, and adaptable with excellent communication skills

Experience in a care, mentoring, or SEN support role is highly advantageous
