A well-regarded secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking a motivated and ambitious Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team this September. Your role will include:

• Providing academic support in Maths through one-to-one and small group sessions

• Assisting with lesson planning and delivery alongside qualified teachers

• Supporting pupils with varying levels of ability to build confidence and achieve their targets

• Helping manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment

• Working closely with teaching staff to assess student progress and adapt support strategies

We’re looking for someone who:

• Holds a 2:1 degree or above in Maths or a closely related subject (e.g. Physics, Engineering, Economics)

• Has strong communication skills and a clear passion for education

• Is enthusiastic, proactive, and keen to make a difference

• Ideally has some experience working with young people (in schools, tutoring, mentoring, or youth work), but this is not essential

• Is considering a future in teaching and eager to gain valuable school-based experience
