Childrens Social Worker - Safeguarding Team - Northampton and Wellingborough - Earning £38 Hourly - Full time - Hybrid but with office presence required to meet the needs of the service when requested - 3 months
Are you ready for an exhilarating opportunity to join a dynamic team in Northampton and Wellingborough? We are looking for an experienced Childrens Social Worker to join our Safeguarding Team on a locum basis for three months, with potential for extension. This full-time role offers a competitive rate of £38 per hour, allowing you to make a significant impact in the lives of children and families. Our team is committed to providing excellent service, and you will have the opportunity to handle intriguing cases from the Initial Child Protection Conference or Child in Need meetings through to case closure.

What you will do:
- Take the lead on safeguarding cases by conducting assessments and formulating plans that focus on the welfare and safety of children and young people.
- Collaborate with a variety of partner agencies and professionals to ensure the best outcomes for service users.
- Present cases in court and other formal settings, advocating for the needs and rights of children.
- Engage with and provide support to families through challenging situations with empathy, understanding, and expertise.
- Document and report on your findings and interventions in a thorough and timely manner.
