Contract Duration: 12 months (initial placements reviewed at 3-month intervals)

Role Overview
Sanctuary Personnel is seeking two skilled and reliable Joiners to support our Property Services team in delivering essential joinery works across major void backlogs, in-year programmes, and planned repairs. The successful candidates will play a vital role in maintaining and improving our social housing stock, working across void properties and occupied homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out a wide range of joinery tasks to a high standard with a focus on quality and detail.
- Work as part of a team to deliver repairs, replacements, and upgrades in line with project specifications.
- Deliver joinery works across empty properties (voids) and tenanted homes as part of planned repairs.
- Collaborate with plumbers and other trades as part of a two-person team for bathroom and wet room installations.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols and Berneslai Homes procedures at all times.
- Assist with additional duties as required, including general labouring and waste removal.
Key Joinery Tasks Include:
- Kitchen removal and installation (standard and adapted units)
- Bathroom, shower room, and wet room joinery (in support of plumbing installations)
- First and second fix internal joinery
- Fascia, soffit, and gutter installations
- Garage door and frame installations
- Joinery repairs, including:
- Floorboarding
- Door easing/replacement
- Kitchen unit repairs
Desirable Skills and Experience
- NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Joinery/Carpentry
- Proven experience in social housing or similar environments
- Basic plumbing knowledge is advantageous but not essential
- Willingness to support other trades and undertake general site duties as needed
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
Additional Information:
- A company vehicle will be provided for site work. However, candidates may need to travel to the depot independently initially.
- Full induction and site orientation provided
- Weekly work schedules will be provided when possible
