Occupational Therapist Locum job in Birmingham - Band 6 D2A ( Discharge to Assess) - £26 Hourly

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team within Band 6 D2A located in Birmingham, UK. This locum role offers an attractive hourly rate of £26 and is slated to commence from 30th June 2025. This position is ongoing, offering full-time hours with the option to consider part-time working arrangements. What you will do:

- Perform holistic assessments, treatments, and discharge planning specifically for complex and frail adults.
- Your role will be pivotal in implementing effective care plans that enhance patient autonomy and quality of life.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Conduct access visits, requiring a car and valid driving license, ensuring patients have a safe and supportive environment.
- Work independently at Inpatient settings and integrate seamlessly with different healthcare units including PTC, CU27, and AMH.

Requirements:

- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Practical experience in inpatient settings with a focus on discharge planning.
- Proficiency in RIO is desirable.
- Valid driving license and access to a car for travel between various facilities.
