Social Worker – Kinship/Assessment Team, Liverpool (UK), earning £42.10 per hour. This is an ongoing locum opportunity for a qualified Social Worker to join a dynamic team within the Kinship/Assessment sector in Liverpool. What you will do:
- Conduct viability reports and family and friends assessments to ensure the adequacy of placements.
- Work on fostering assessments, notably form C, and present these to the fostering panel.
- Complete viability, kinship, and Special Guardianship Order (SGO) assessments with precision and care.
- Collaborate closely with the local authority child care and legal teams to meet court-mandated timelines.
- Maintain a robust working knowledge of fostering regulations, legislation, and National Minimum Standards.
This team works out of Parklands in Liverpool, L24 0TY, offering free parking and a supportive working environment. Candidates should reside within an hour's commute of Liverpool and be ready to engage in a full-time commitment for the placement duration, which extends through April 2026 or a minimum of six months. A car driver is essential due to the nature of the role.
