What you will do:
- Chair Looked After Children’s Reviews and act as Duty Child Protection Chair when required.
- Ensure the Local Authority delivers good outcomes for children under protection plans or those in care.
- Chair meetings, agree on required plans, and provide comprehensive reports within statutory and local timescales.
- Enable children and young people to express their views, ensuring these are reflected in their care plans.
- Ensure that all plans are SMART and outcome-focused, with targets tailored to individual needs.
- Monitor quality and progress of care plans, challenging areas that fall short of standards.
- Contribute to regular auditing and attend team meetings to enhance service development.
- Participate in professional development and training, sharing insights to improve service delivery.
- Listen to families in multi-agency meetings, ensuring their views shape outcomes.
