• Provide support and assessments for children and young people (ages 0–18) with severe and profound disabilities.

• Work closely with health and education professionals to develop and review holistic care plans.

• Conduct statutory visits, including pre-birth assessments and occasional travel outside of the local authority area.

• Offer guidance and supervision to junior staff and student social workers, contributing to team development.

• Apply the Signs of Safety framework in reflective practice and case reviews to ensure consistency and best outcomes.
