This is an exceptional opportunity for a Qualified Social Worker to join the Adults Hospital Team in the vibrant city of Liverpool. What you will do:

  • Manage a complex and varied caseload, with supervision and support from your team leader.
  • Collaborate across multi-disciplinary forums, attending and representing the department as needed.
  • Conduct assessments to identify individual needs and co-design support plans with service users.
  • Undertake safeguarding enquiries and capacity assessments, ensuring timely and effective outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively in high-risk situations, providing clear and professional guidance.
  • Engage in direct work with service users, carers, and families in line with safeguarding procedures.
  • Monitor financial resources and ensure services are delivered within budgetary constraints.
  • Participate in the duty system and act as a trusted assessor for supporting equipment/adaptations.

Qualification:

  • Dip SW, BA or MA Social Work or equivalent / or due to receive qualification within next 5 months following application. 
  • Social Work England registered or due to receive registration within the next 5 months following application.
