What you will do:
- Oversee practice development and perform line management functions.
- Supervise and support practitioners undertaking statutory social work and Youth Justice assessments.
- Coordinate complex multi-disciplinary plans for the welfare of young people.
- Develop close and constructive working relationships with a variety of professionals, ensuring effective partnership working to safeguard children.
- Prioritise workload to ensure timely access to services for children and families.
- Lead and manage a busy frontline children's services team.
- Bring an understanding of trauma-informed practices and experience working with complex adolescents.
- Demonstrate a keen interest or knowledge in Youth Justice Services.
