Role Overview: Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and driven Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Brent. This long-term role offers the chance to work with Year 4 students, supporting them academically and emotionally in a nurturing environment. Key Responsibilities: : Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant

  • Provide tailored support to Year 4 students, both individually and in small groups.
  • Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering engaging lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Offer pastoral care and help children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to thrive in the classroom.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring every student feels supported and valued.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the classroom by working closely with staff to track and promote student progress.

About You: : Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant

  • You have, or are soon to complete, a degree in Education, Psychology, or a core subject (2:1 or higher).
  • You have a genuine passion for working with primary-aged children and a strong commitment to supporting their learning.
  • Experience in the classroom is a plus, but not essential.
  • You are available to start immediately or in September 2025.
  • You are ready to commit to a full-time role (32.5 hours per week, term time only) and are enthusiastic about making a difference in children’s lives.
