Head Of Finance in County Louth

Overview:

An ambitious and growing multi-entity business operating across leisure, accommodation, and professional services is seeking an experienced Head of Finance to lead its finance function. This is a critical leadership role offering the opportunity to influence strategy, drive performance, and improve systems during an exciting period of expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the finance function, including financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting
• Oversee cash flow, statutory accounts, tax compliance, payroll, and audit
• Provide commercial insight and decision support to senior stakeholders
• Ensure strong financial controls and process improvements across the group
• Manage and develop a small finance team (currently 3 direct reports)
• Work closely with the GM and CEO on financial strategy and operational planning

What We’re Looking For:

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a senior finance role, ideally within multi-site operations
• Background in leisure, hospitality, property, or service-led sectors preferred
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
• Hands-on approach with the ability to operate both strategically and operationally
