What You Will Do:

- Conduct comprehensive, person-centred assessments of adults with complex needs, identifying effective occupational therapy interventions to promote independence and wellbeing.
- Manage a caseload of complex cases, implementing and evaluating treatment programmes, including risk assessment and rehabilitation.
- Provide expert advice on housing needs, equipment provision, and adaptations to support independent living, from minor adjustments to major adaptations.
- Operate autonomously in community and office-based settings, ensuring timely and responsive service delivery.
- Lead the team by providing professional supervision and support to occupational therapists, assistants, and students, and oversee the allocation of cases.
- Engage in recruitment, induction, and the professional development of team members by facilitating learning opportunities.
- Collaborate with health, social care, housing, and third-sector partners to deliver integrated care and participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and service planning.
- Contribute to the operational planning, evaluation, and audit of services, championing continuous improvement and innovation.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and prepare detailed reports for case management and service evaluation.
- Advocate for strength-based and anti-discriminatory practice, ensuring services are inclusive and accessible.
