What you will do:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care programs for orthopaedic patients, ensuring the highest standards are maintained.
• Deliver compassionate care in line with the current ward philosophy and adhere to established procedures and policies.
• Act as a ward coordinator under the direction of the nurse in charge, taking the lead when necessary.
• Supervise and support both newly qualified and experienced nursing staff, acting as a clinical supervisor and mentor.
• Engage in continuous professional development, setting and achieving personal goals through regular appraisals and performance reviews.
• Ensure effective communication with the multidisciplinary team, fostering a collaborative environment for patient care.
• Uphold the principles of the Nursing and Midwifery Council Code of Professional Conduct and adhere to health and safety protocols.
