What you will do:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and engage directly with children to understand and present their wishes and views accurately to the court.
- Apply your expertise in risk assessment and mediation, advocating for arrangements prioritising children's best interests.
- Collaborate as part of the Private Law team, handling cases needing assistance in determining the most suitable arrangements for children's welfare and safety.
- Engage with local authorities in cases requiring Cafcass involvement due to serious concerns.
Who we’re looking for:
- A relevant Social Work qualification is essential, along with registration with the Social Work England regulator.
- You should ideally have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working with children and families in a social work capacity.
- Family Court proceedings experience and understanding of Private Law would be advantageous.
- Possess strong organisational skills, resilience, and the ability to work independently while effectively managing your workload.
