Our client is seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their established and fast-paced finance team in the motor industry. Reporting directly to the dealership accountant, this role plays a key part in supporting financial operations across sales and service departments.This is an excellent opportunity for someone with motor dealership finance experience who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys responsibility and variety. Key Responsibilities Daily bank reconciliations and weekly cash-flow forecastingProduction of weekly and monthly management reportsVehicle and stock monthly write-downsMonthly accruals and profit reconciliationMaintenance of payables and receivables ledgersManagement and upkeep of the fixed assets registerGeneral ledger maintenanceProviding ad-hoc finance support to other dealerships when required About You Minimum 18 months’ experience in a dealership finance role (highly desirable)Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environmentProactive, highly organised, and detail-orientedStrong reporting and reconciliation skillsWorking knowledge of Kerridge and ADP Accounts software is advantageous Apply Now!
