What you will do Provide high-quality healthcare to a diverse prison population, managing a broad range of clinical needs.Conduct clinical assessments and diagnoses, making informed and timely decisions regarding patient management.Act as a specialist clinical resource for patients and colleagues while contributing to clinical governance and service improvement initiatives.Facilitate first-night prescribing and urgent follow-up care in collaboration with senior nursing staff.Participate in substance misuse prescribing and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Requirements MBChB or MBBS qualification.Inclusion on the General Medical Council (GMC) Register and the GP Performers List.Evidence of annual appraisals and ongoing continuing professional development.Experience working as a General Practitioner within community general practice.Experience supporting patients with a history of substance misuse.RCGP Certificate in Substance Misuse Levels 1 and 2, or willingness to complete these qualifications.
