This is a temporary cover role supporting the service during a period of annual leave.The role involves managing a mixed caseload and delivering high quality statutory social work practice, ensuring children are safeguarded and supported in line with legislation and best practice.Key Responsibilities Hold a caseload including Child in Need, Child Protection, Care Proceedings, and Children Looked After casesAttend CIN meetings, Core Group meetings, ICPC and RCPC conferencesComplete regular statutory visits in line with safeguarding requirementsProduce high quality case recordings and maintain accurate recordsPrepare clear and timely written reports for meetings and court proceedingsSupport and supervise family time where requiredWork closely with families, carers, and multi-agency professionalsContribute to safeguarding decision making and planningEnsure all practice is child focused and compliant with statutory guidance Candidate Requirements Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registrationExperience across Child Protection, CIN, Care Proceedings and CLAStrong understanding of safeguarding legislation and statutory frameworksExcellent report writing and case recording skillsExperience attending multi-agency meetings and conferencesAbility to manage a complex caseload effectivelyStrong communication and organisational skills What We Are Looking For Confident and experienced children’s social workerStrong safeguarding and assessment skillsAble to work independently and manage competing prioritiesHighly organised with strong attention to detailCommitted to improving outcomes for children and families Why Work with Seven Resourcing?At Seven Resourcing, we go beyond recruitment.
