With a highly engaged workforce, ongoing investment projects and an increasing focus on group-wide EHS initiatives, this role offers the opportunity to make a visible impact whilst further developing an already positive safety culture.The EHS Manager will be responsible for: Driving legal compliance, risk management and EHS performance across the Northampton production site, ensuring compliance with corporate standards and statutory requirements.   Influencing, coaching and supporting managers, supervisors and frontline teams to embed a proactive and positive safety culture.Leading EHS programmes including contractor management, machinery safety, behavioural safety, incident investigation, audits, inspections and reporting processes.Supporting capital investment projects and continuous improvement initiatives, whilst acting as the site's primary point of contact for EHS matters. The EHS Manager will have: Health & Safety experience gained within a manufacturing, food & beverage, FMCG or similarly regulated industrial environment.A NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) as a minimum.Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively from shop-floor to senior leadership level.A proactive and resilient approach, with the confidence to challenge where required and the ability to operate independently whilst driving positive change.
