Maintenance Engineer Location: Boston, LincolnshireSalary: £52,000Shift: 4 on 4 off – Days & NightsWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and successful manufacturing business based in the Boston area.This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Engineer looking to join a stable business offering a strong salary, excellent shift pattern and long-term career opportunities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.The successful Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of production machinery, responding to breakdowns and working closely with the wider engineering and production teams to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer: Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production machinery and equipment.Respond to breakdowns and carry out reactive maintenance.Fault find and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues.Complete repairs efficiently to minimise production downtime.Support continuous improvement and machinery reliability initiatives.Work closely with production teams to ensure equipment remains operational.Complete engineering documentation and maintenance records.Maintain high standards of Health & Safety at all times.Support engineering projects and equipment improvements where required. Skills Required: Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer, Multi-Skilled Engineer, Electrical Engineer or Mechanical Engineer.Strong electrical and/or mechanical engineering background.Experience within a manufacturing, production or FMCG environment.Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.Experience carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance.Comfortable working a 4 on 4 off Days & Nights shift pattern.
