What you will do Manage the day-to-day running of the dispensary as delegated by the Dispensary Manager.Act as an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACT), ensuring accurate and safe dispensing practices.Dispense and issue prescriptions while coordinating workflow within the dispensary to maximise efficiency.Provide induction and training on dispensary procedures and pharmacy software to new and existing staff.Maintain the highest standards of professional practice, governance, and patient safety.Support the delivery of efficient pharmacy services in line with organisational procedures and regulatory requirements. Requirements GPhC Registration: Must be a registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).Hospital Experience: Significant post-qualification hospital pharmacy experience is essential.ACT Qualification: Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician qualification is required.Mental Health Experience: Previous mental health pharmacy experience is highly desirable.Transport: Access to transport is beneficial, although car ownership is not essential.
