Key Responsibilities: Lead and support a multi-disciplinary team, including children’s mentors, education specialists, and psychologists. Partner with Assistant Team Managers and Practice Managers to provide guidance on complex safeguarding cases and children with additional needs. Engage with Local Authorities and LADOs to handle and resolve safeguarding concerns, complaints, and allegations. Oversee risk assessments, safety plans, and care planning processes, ensuring they are accurate, timely, and child-focused. Design and implement performance management and quality assurance frameworks to uphold best-in-class service standards. Analyse feedback and data to drive continuous improvement and influence strategic decision-making. Support long-term planning aimed at placement stability and financial sustainability within the fostering service. Stay informed on sector trends, policy updates, and research to align services with national best practices.
