We are looking for an experienced locum Approved Mental Health Professional to join our Devon Daytime AMHP Service. The post is full time (37 Hours per week) Monday to Friday. Consideration may be given to part-time working. You will preferably hold an existing approval, but if not, you will have a portfolio ready to present for approval by Devon. It is essential that you are able to travel throughout Devon in order to fulfil your duties under the Mental Health Act 1983 and related legislation. You will also need to have experience in taking MHA triage decisions at the point of referral and will be encouraged to further develop your s13(1) MHA consideration skills within a supportive duty environment. Our service, the Devon AMHP Service, is recognised as a national example of good practice and has been involved in the development of the AMHP National Service Standards and other initiatives related to the role.
