Covering a 22,000 sqm facility, this role offers a stable working environment with a strong focus on planned maintenance, compliance, and continuous improvement.This is an ideal position for a multi-skilled engineer with a mechanical bias who enjoys working across a wide range of site services and facilities systems.You will be responsible for maintaining and improving all site facilities, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and full compliance with statutory requirements.Industry – Industrial Manufacturing Key Responsibilities Carry out PPM, testing, and reactive maintenance across site facilitiesMaintain and repair mechanical systems and building servicesPerform basic electrical fault-finding and repairsEnsure compliance with all statutory and safety regulationsConduct and document inspections using CMMS systemsManage contractors, issue permits to work, and ensure safety standards are metSupport energy efficiency and sustainability initiativesRespond quickly to breakdowns to minimise operational disruptionAssist with installation, commissioning, and decommissioning of assetsContribute to continuous improvement and reliability projects Equipment You Will Work On HVAC systemsBoilers, chillers, and compressed air systemsPumps, valves, pipework, and water servicesElectrical systems including lighting, distribution boards, and controlsFire alarms, emergency lighting, and sprinkler systemsPressure systems and water hygiene systems Non-Negotiable Requirements Experience within a facilities or industrial engineering environment Requirements for the Facilities Engineer Mechanical and basic electrical fault-finding skillsEngineering qualification (apprenticeship highly desirable)Experience working in industrial/manufacturing environments Desirable Experience Background in food or packaging industriesExperience managing contractors and compliance systems The Facilities Engineer Will Benefit From Working for a stable and established manufacturing businessMonday–Friday days role (great work-life balance)Company benefits including: PensionCycle to work schemeGym membershipOn-site parkingReferral programmeSick pay & wellness support Opportunity to be part of future site development and improvements Apply NowIf you are a hands-on Facilities or Maintenance Engineer looking for a stable, days-based role within a large industrial site, apply now to be considered.
