The successful candidate will be a skilled tradesperson with experience installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings. *Setting up new electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in buildings and other structures. *Performing regular checks and upkeep on existing electrical systems to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. *Diagnosing and fixing faulty wiring, circuits, and electrical components to prevent hazards and ensure functionality. *Ensuring all work meets local and national electrical codes and safety standards. *Identifying and resolving electrical problems quickly and effectively. The successful candidate will have: *CSCS or ECS *2391 Testing & Inspection *PAT testing (desirable) This role is offered on a contract basis. 12 days on, 2 days off Overtime rate paid Monday- Thursday after 8 hours worked, Friday after 7 hours worked and at weekends. They are now seeking a small tools fitter to join their team at one of their depots near Bristol. Job Role: As the small tools fitter, you will be carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of small tools and equipment (e.g. power tools, press fitting, breakers, grinders, saws).Diagnosing faults quickly and effectively to ensure tools are safe, reliable, and ready for hire.Preparing, testing, and inspecting equipment to meet industry standards before dispatch.Maintaining accurate service records and supporting the depot team with technical advice when required. You will have previously worked as a small tools fitter, tool fitter, workshop tool fitter, PAT tester, PAT testing, workshop fitter or similar.
